It’s okay to admit that sometimes you feel overwhelmed with the demands of having to make all the decisions and then carry them out.
It’s also okay to admit that you sometimes find yourself wondering if you’ll have enough strength to stay the course. The world won’t come to an end.
Choosing to go after your dreams requires tremendous amounts of energy because you do play so many different roles, especially if you are a solo entrepreneur.
So, as you start or continue on this path, don’t beat up on yourself if you can’t easily muster the intensity of faith that some mentors appear to have accomplished.
The enthusiasm of those who are perhaps further along on their journey toward expressing who they really are can affect you in two ways. It can inspire you, or it can devastate you. The choice is yours.
The important thing to remember is that it took time—practice—and putting one foot in front of the other consistently before your mentors achieved that perspective on their lives. So there’s nothing keeping you from doing it, too.
Changing your approach to life is like forming any habit. You do it. You do it again. Then you do it again — until finally you’re doing it without even thinking about it.
So invest your energy into doing the things you need to do to make your life and your business a success - BUT do them with the expectation of success.
Don’t rate your abilities or compare yourself or your product to someone else’s. Believe in the unique expression that is YOU.
Then put one foot in front of the other. Simple, but powerful, because it is the only way to make the journey from here to there.
